Check out the <a href="http://wiki.wordpress.org/Plugin">WordPress plugins page</a>. Two things which don't seem to have current prepackaged plugins are the recommended box and the 404 search. The 404 searching will be based on <a href="http://nslog.com/archives/2003/02/26/404_search_function_code.php">existing code</a> for MT that I think I can hack for WP. And I'm thinking I can do the recommended box with a hidden category, then a simple function to display a random post from that category in the sidebar. If I get these working I'll certainly post about it, and perhaps even submit them to the wiki. I just love the details that go into websites. I don't have the skills to implement things like that, yet, but its only a matter of time. You plan on like writing up on those things when you finish doing them. I would love to get some insights into many of them.
